Qualifications: First Class BE / B.Tech Graduates with minimum of 60% marks / 6.5 CGPA (or 55% marks / 6 CGPA for SC / ST candidates) in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized Indian University/ Institute and qualified in GATE.
Age: Not more than 23 years as on 1st August,2014.
Selection Process: Short-listed candidates will be called for written Test to be conducted by IIT Madras in co-ordination with L&T at 4 metro cities :Madras,Delhi,Mumbai and Kolkata on 17th May 2014. Candidates who clear the written test, will be called for Interview at IIT Madras on 5th / 6th June 2014.Final selection will be based upon the interview results and also subject to medical fitness as certified by L&T's authorized medical centres.
Undertaking: Selected candidates will have to execute an undertaking for a value of Rs. 6.50 lakhs to serve the company for a minimum period of 5 years after completion of the course.
Scholarship: A stipend of Rs. 9000/- per month will be paid by L&T for the entire duration of the course.
